Virginia Del Rey

Virginia Del Rey’s career started as a high school teacher. She taught political science and US history.  In the early 1980’s she joined AT&T.  Her Telecommunications experience spans over a period of 29 years.  This experience includes field sales in federal government, state and local government and education. In 1995 she became sales vice president of the Federal Systems Group and in 1996 became regional sales vice president of Public Sector. In 1999 she joined Equipment Solutions, and started the first Public Sector integration vertical as the Regional Vice President in California.  Her team sold and supported large Data networks for customers such as the State of California, California State University and Los Angles Unified School District. Over the next eight years she grew that revenue to over $900M.

Virginia is married and has a daughter and son and three grandchildren.  She has an undergraduate degree from California State University and a Masters Degree from Claremont Graduate School.  She currently is once again teaching school, which has always been her passion.
