David Lind is a Senior Advisor with Hawksbill Group, a diversified business and communications consulting firm based in Washington, DC. He specializes in tenant representation for corporate real estate assets.
He has spent the majority of his career at CBRE, Inc. where he has represented companies like Ace Hardware, Alberto Culver, Safeway/Dominick’s, U.S. Robotics/3Com, Insurance Auto Auctions, Waste Management, Infogix, Forsythe Technologies, TreeHouse Foods, Simon Property Group and Hines.
Since joining CBRE nearly 40 years ago he has represented more than 250 companies in over 1,000 deals totaling more than 10,000,000 square feet in the Chicago metropolitan area and in nationwide searches for new office facilities.
While at CBRE David has been recognized with numerous accolades including being named CBRE No. 1 Producer worldwide and CBRE No. 2 Producer worldwide on two occasions. He was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from CBRE. He was recognized as the Stuart B. Matthews Salesman of the year by the Chicago Real Estate Board and was the recipient of the Chicago Sun-Times Broker of the Year award.
He was a member of the Board of Directors for CBRE Inc. and a founding member of the company’s Broker Advisory Group.
Prior to joining CBRE, David was a stockbroker with Kidder Peabody for three years and a member of the PGA Tour from 1975 to 1977. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Duke University.
